Audit Platform
Designed, Built & Launched Auditing Tool
Driving clarity and alignment from idea to impact.
Product Ownership is about aligning every decision - big or small - with the business's true objective.
I believe the Product Owner's job is to translate high-level strategy into actionable, prioritized work; to act as the single point of focus for both stakeholders and the delivery team, and to keep everyone aligned on what actually moves the needle for users and the business.
Success in ownership isn't measured by feature output, but by achieving the right outcomes, on time, and with stakeholder buy-in.
Get every stakeholder to agree on the one outcome that matters most (e.g., "deliver a usable audit report for airport certification").
Every feature or change is mapped against its contribution to the core outcome, with non-critical items parked for later.
Proactively manage all stakeholder relationships. This means staying in touch with users and clients, but also compliance, development and delivery teams.
Ship early, test with users, and adjust priorities based on real-world feedback. This not oly keeps the product aimed more accurately at the market requirement, but reduces risk, and allows for correction.
Maintain clear backlogs, decisions, and rationales so every trade-off is transparent.
This auditing platform was an initiative digitizing and standardizing airport audits previously done by hand, under strict international compliance and unique local security constraints.
The existing audit process was manual, non-standardized, and the output reports were unverifiable by third party teams. Reports to the Airport Authorties where not fit for purpose.
As Product Owner, I was responsible for aligning international, local, and regulatory stakeholders; translating requirements into a focused backlog; and ensuring every decision supported the core objective: producing actionable, standardized audit reports.
True product ownership means saying no to good ideas that don’t serve the core goal, and making sure the team is never confused about what matters most.
